Monocle Magazine was launched in 2007, as an answer to readers with a thirst for what is going on beyond their own borders on a cultural, political, business and creative level.

Print issues such as The Forecast, providing key insights to the year ahead and The Escapist, the feel-good travel magazine that appears around summer are additionally published twice a year.

In 2011 Monocle started up a round the clock radio station, in addition to the printed word: Monocle 24.

A variety of guides, such as travel, business and design were launched in 2013 and only last year their first "Ted-talk"-ish conference called the  "Quality of Life" took place in sunny and mundane  Lisbon, hosting 20 panellists and an international audience.
